Roman Totenberg

Roman Totenberg was a renowned Polish-American violinist and educator, born in 1911. His early life was marked by extensive travel, with residences in Poland, Moscow, Berlin, and Paris, which exposed him to a diverse range of musical influences. As a child prodigy, Totenberg demonstrated exceptional talent, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in music.

Totenberg formally immigrated to the United States in 1938, at the age of 27, and went on to establish himself as a prominent figure in the music world.
