Baruch Marzel

Baruch Marzel is a prominent figure in Israeli politics, known for his extremist views. Born in 1959 in Boston, he later relocated to Israel and currently resides in the Hebron community of Tel Rumeida with his family. As an Orthodox Jew, Marzel has been involved in various right-wing organizations and parties, including the Jewish National Front, which he led at one point. His political affiliations have also included membership in Otzma Yehudit, although he eventually parted ways with the party.

Marzel's political career has been marked by his association with radical ideologies. Notably, he served as the spokesman for the Kach organization, founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane, for a decade. Following Kahane's assassination, Marzel continued to advocate for extreme right-wing views, earning him the description of an "extreme right-wing activist" in the Israeli press. His leadership and involvement in various far-right groups have cemented his position as a controversial figure in Israeli politics.
