Steve Kagen

Steve Kagen is a American politician born in 1949. He pursued a career in politics, affiliating himself with the Democratic Party, and also worked as a physician. Kagen's political endeavors led him to represent Wisconsin's 8th congressional district in the U.S. Congress. This district encompasses the northeastern region of the state, including notable cities such as Green Bay and Appleton.

Kagen served as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 8th congressional district from 2007 to 2011. His tenure in Congress came to an end when he lost his re-election bid in 2010 to Reid Ribble. Following his defeat, Ribble succeeded Kagen, taking office on January 3, 2011. Despite his departure from Congress, Kagen's experience as a politician and physician has contributed to his unique perspective on public policy and governance.
