Phyllis Seckler

American occultist (1917–2004)

Phyllis Seckler was a prominent American occultist, born in 1917 and passing away in 2004. Her spiritual pursuits led her to become a member of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), where she attained the ninth degree. Seckler's involvement in the occult also extended to the A∴A∴ tradition, in which she held a lineage position. Her interests and studies, however, do not appear to have been directly related to her listed field of Judaism.

As a student of Jane Wolfe, Phyllis Seckler was connected to the teachings of Aleister Crowley, a well-known figure in occultism. Through her association with Wolfe, Seckler was able to delve deeper into the mysteries of the occult, ultimately becoming a respected figure in her own right. Seckler, also known by her mystical name Soror Meral, made significant contributions to the world of occultism through her writings and her involvement with various spiritual organizations.
