Drake (musician)

Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian musician and actor born in 1986. He initially gained recognition for his acting role as Jimmy Brooks in the teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation, which aired from 2001 to 2008. During this time, Drake also began to explore his musical talents, releasing several independent mixtapes that would eventually lead to his rise in the music industry.

Drake's music career took off with the release of mixtapes such as Room for Improvement, Comeback Season, and So Far Gone, which caught the attention of Young Money Entertainment, leading to a record deal. As a rapper and singer, he is often credited with bringing R&B elements into hip-hop music through his unique rap-singing style, earning him widespread recognition as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
